Tasting Notes

Cherry, red fruits, a smattering of dried herb and aniseed tips the balance in this wine to a more Savoury offering. It’s medium-bodied, contains a well-etched fine tannin, good length and plenty of varietal character.

It's brightly fruited and fragrant on the nose, showing sweet cherry, wild strawberry, floral and mixed spice aromas. The palate displays juicy fruit intensity together with fine texture and grainy tannins, finishing lingering and pleasingly dry. A lovely expression of the variety. At its best: now to 2029.
